Individual tutors won’t be able to apply directly to the NTP for funding. Tuition Partners funding has been given to organisations based on evidence of impact on attainment, safeguarding policies, and previous experience of working with schools at an organisational level, as well as other selection criteria. Opportunities to become a National Tutoring Programme tutor are available through approved Tuition Partners.
To sign up to tutor through the NTP, individuals can take the following steps:
- Search for Tuition Partners that offer tutoring services that are appropriate for you. You can search by location and filter by subject, age range, as well as specify if you would prefer face-to-face or online tutoring. Please note that the majority of Tuition Partners offer online tutoring and therefore location is unlikely to be a restrictive factor. A full list of Partners can be found here.
- Once you have found a Tuition Partner (or a number of Tuition Partners) that you feel are a good fit for you, please follow the link to their website that is provided on their page.
- Please follow the Tuition Partner’s application policies to become a tutor, and in your application specify that you would like to work on delivering tutoring under the National Tutoring Programme.
If you have previously registered an interest on our website, we may pass on your details to our Tuition Partners upon request.
Please note: registering an interest is not a formal application to become a tutor. Please follow the steps outlined above to formally sign up as a tutor.
