At Learning Academies, we are proud of our well-established track record of working collaboratively with schools from across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. Through our highly effective iAchieve Programme, we provide inspiring tuition on a 1:1 and small group basis, raising attainment in the core subjects as well as improving confidence and self-esteem.
We offer a service that you can rely upon to be consistent and effective. Our tutors are highly qualified and bring a wealth of experience to complement and enhance the work already underway in school. We welcome the opportunity to join your team and to exceed your expectations.
How many pupils and schools can we work with?
902 pupils in approximately 25 schools.
NOTE: This provider offers tutoring online and in-person in certain areas. Enquire below to find out whether in-person tuition is available in your area.
Who are our tutors?
Our tutors are inspiring, experienced, well-qualified teachers. Additionally, they all hold a Safeguarding Level 2/3 accreditation and enhanced DBS Certification.
How do we recruit our tutors?
Our tutors complete a fully compliant, rigorous, recruitment process. Applicants complete an ‘Expression of Interest’ via our secure recruitment portal and short-listed candidates are interviewed by our Education Directors – all of whom hold Safer Recruitment certification. References and full background checks are completed for all successful applicants prior to clearance.
How do we train our tutors?
Our tutors benefit from a full induction and ongoing training programme. We are a highly reflective team with inductions underpinned by an Interactive Training Manual ensuring all iAchieve Tuition is of an excellent quality. Daily Session Evaluations provide ongoing feedback from pupils and, this combined with school partner feedback, helps shape future training.
How will we communicate with you?
The impact of any tuition intervention is greatly accelerated where open and regular communication is secured. We work closely with class teachers, Heads and SENCO’s to ensure a fully ‘joined up’ approach. Direct lines of communication to the Education Directors and tutors are in place, via phone, email and/or Zoom and we are always happy to meet up face to face (Covid allowing).
How will we keep track of pupil progress?
School baseline data, enhanced by our ongoing assessments, enables us to set/monitor/report upon student progress. We track individual progress against clearly defined targets with Daily Student Reviews providing an invaluable insight for teachers. Pre and post course evaluations (academic and attitudinal) are completed by all pupils/parents/carers to ensure full impact is captured.
